Protective plastic corners
Features
Protective plastic corners are an extremely important component in strapping. This is so for goods that can be damaged by the tightening of the strapping. Because the purpose of packaging is to protect the products, plastic corners are recommended when strong clamping of the strapping is required.
To avoid crushing the goods during the packaging process with the strapping tape, the plastic corners are placed under the strapping band. Once they are fixed in the right places, the strapping tape is fixed by passing over the corners. In this way, the pressure exerted by the strap on the goods is absorbed by the protective plastic corners.
There are PVC corners with and without a slot. Slotted plastic corners are the preferred option by most manufactures because they prevent the strapping band from slipping out when tightening with a strapping machine. This, in turn, protects not only the packaged goods, but also the employees who are responsible for the packaging process.
Legno EOOD offers its customers high quality, extremely flexible plastic corners for strapping with a notch for strapping tape up to 19mm wide.
